Raquel Zimmermann (born May 6, 1983 in Novo Hamburgo , Rio Grande do Sul ) is a Brazilian top model .
Life
At the age of 14 she attended a modeling school. She modeled in Japan for a few years before designer labels like Gucci or Christian Dior noticed her. In 2002 she made her first appearance on the Victoria's Secret Show. She had already been booked by all the great designers beforehand. She was re-booked by Victoria's Secret in 2005 and 2006 and has since appeared on many Vogue and Elle covers.

In 2006 Zimmermann modeled for H&M in a fashion collection designed by Dutch avant-garde designers Viktor & Rolf . She shot a commercial with the two of them in which she wore a long wedding dress. She worked on campaigns for Escada , Bobby Brown Cosmetics , Cerruti , Armani , Valentino and Versace .
