The Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST) is a British organization that aims to preserve ancient British domestic breeds. No British domestic animal breed has gone extinct since its inception in 1973.

The RBST's watch list includes cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, goats and poultry breeds that are among the ancient British breeds. They are classified into different hazard categories. The Trust also maintains a list of farms that keep ancient breeds and that are open to visitors.

The projects also include the collection of genetic material in a breed genebank.
