Rasmus Glarbjerg Larsen (born November 25, 1994 in Rudersdal , Denmark ; † May 2015 in Charleroi , Belgium ) was a Danish basketball player.

Career

Larsen made his debut in early 2011 in the A-team of the Danish first division club Værløse BBK . After participating with Danish youth national teams in the U18 B-European Championship 2011 and the Albert Schweitzer Tournament 2012, he was signed by Bàsquet Manresa in September 2012 . Due to a shoulder injury, however, Larsen was only used twice for the amateur team CE Sant Nicolau in the fourth-class EBA league .

It was not until the beginning of the 2013/14 season that he made his debut in the ACB league and immediately received the award as the best player of the game day after he had scored 21 points against Joventut de Badalona and secured 13 rebounds .

Since 2014 he has played in the Belgian Scoooreleague for Spirou BC Charleroi . On May 13, 2015, he was found dead in his home. Apparently he died in his sleep, the exact circumstances of his death have not yet been clarified.
