Robert Jazze Niederle

Robert "Jazze" Niederle (* 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author, painter, cartoonist and writer.

Life

Niederle finished his training at the Higher Graphic Federal Teaching and Research Institute in Vienna in 1986 . From 1987 he published comics in the magazines Comic Forum , Fön-X, ALP, Wiener Journal and in the reissued U-Comix . He illustrated for the Viennese and the book "Café Plem Plem - 15 years of cabaret Erwin Steinhauer " edited by Helmuth A. Niederle . He wrote texts for Heinz Wolf , Michael Wittmann , Nicolas Mahler , Peter Puck and Harm Bengen .

From 1996 he turned increasingly to painting. He worked with the visual artist Irene Andessner on the “Wanda SM” project for “Graz 03 European Capital of Culture”. He was a gag writer for television, which resulted in the book "Late Night News 2001". In 2003 and 2004 he published the two volumes "50 - Literature Drawn", in which he satirically summarized 100 books of world literature. The publishing house Gruner + Jahr published a Polish edition in 2006. In the same year his first novel "Oregano" was published. Works by Niederle can also be found in the Internet initiative “Comics against the Right”.
