Town hall in Bolesławiec

The town hall in Bolesławiec (Polish: Bolesławiec ), a Polish city in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship , was built in the 15th century.

The town hall, which is protected as a cultural monument, dates from the time of the town elevation and the planned reconstruction. The oldest elements are Gothic portals . After the destruction by the Hussites in 1429, the Görlitz city architect Wendel Roskopf was commissioned with the reconstruction, which was completed in 1535 in the late Gothic or Renaissance style . The town hall tower and the late Gothic town hall vault with two Renaissance portals have been preserved from this period.

The town hall building was given its present form through further renovations, most recently in 1776.
