The town hall Prettin is a listed town hall in the Annaburg district of Stadt Prettin in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located at Hohe Straße 18 in the historic center of Prettin. The Sankt-Marien-Kirche is located just north of the town hall .

Architecture and history

The core of the two-story brick building goes back to around 1500. On the south side of the elongated late Gothic house was a gable with loop panels . In the southern part of the building there are profiled and bevelled sandstone walls inserted at the end of the 16th / beginning of the 17th century . In the 18th century, renovations were carried out in the Baroque style . An extensive renovation and especially the interior redesign was carried out in the first third of the 20th century, probably around 1910. Since January 1st, 2011, Prettin has been part of Annaburg.

In the local register of monuments , the town hall is listed as a monument under registration number 094 35262.

In the past, the address of the building was Hohe Straße 47.
