game

material

  • 99 loot cards
  • 21 policemen
  • 6 info cards
  • 16 checks
  • 1 board

procedure

The aim of the game is to collect the most victory points in the form of commodity cards in three evaluations, if possible through tactical use of your checks.

Two to five players who are members of a mafia clan can take part in the game. In your turn, you either reveal a card that was previously in a pile. There are loot or police officers lying there . Or he steals a loot card that is already on display with the help of a special thief card or he announces a foreclosure auction. In the latter case, the player with the highest bid on his check receives all the revealed loot cards from the middle of the table.

If seven police officers (five police officers in the case of two players) are uncovered, a raid (game name) occurs immediately . The players receive victory points for loot cards in their possession. You get different victory points for not deployed thieves, for gold coins, for the one with the most bodyguards, for vehicles and for existing jewelry. The game is over after three rounds. In a final evaluation, additional plus or minus points are awarded for suitable combinations so that previous stragglers can still become winners.

variant

  • Razzia is the card game version of the 1999 alea board game Ra , which was also made by Knizia. While the game mechanism remained the same, some elements of luck from the ancient Egyptian strategy game have been left out.
