Rebutia perplexa is a species of plant in the genus Rebutia from the cactus family(Cactaceae).

description

Rebutia perplexa usually grows in groups with spherical to short cylindrical, bright grass-green bodies. With a diameter of 1.2 to 1.5 centimeters, the bodies reach heights of 1.5 to 2 centimeters and have fiber roots. The 16 to 18 ribs are arranged in a spiral and divided into small humps. The circular areoles on it are white. The 10 to 16, rarely up to 20, yellowish to brownish spines cannot be divided into central and radial spines. They are spread out, slightly protruding and 1 to 2 millimeters long.

The lilac-pink flowers are 3 to 3.5 centimeters long and 2.5 to 3 centimeters in diameter. Your scars are white. The spherical to egg-shaped fruits are dark purple in color and 3 to 4 millimeters in diameter.

Distribution and systematics

Rebutia perplexa is common in Bolivia in the Tarija department . The first description was published in 1980 by John Donald Donald (1923-1996).
