Rebutia pseudodeminuta is a species of plant in the genus Rebutia from the cactus family(Cactaceae).

description

Rebutia pseudodeminuta usually grows sprouting, but also individually with spherical to short cylindrical, deep green bodies. The bodies reach heights of up to 10 centimeters with diameters of 7 to 9 centimeters and have fiber roots. The approximately 15 to 20 ribs are clearly divided into cusps. The areoles on it are brown. There are 2 to 3 (rarely 1 to 4) more or less protruding central spines . They are yellowish to dark brown, get brown tips over time and are up to 15 millimeters long. The approximately 10 to 15, whitish and glassy radial spines are 5 to 7 millimeters long.

The carmine-red flowers are 2 to 4 centimeters long and 3.5 centimeters in diameter. Your pericarpel and the flower tube are covered with some bristles. The scars are white.

Distribution and systematics

Rebutia pseudodeminuta is distributed in Bolivia in the Chuquisaca and Tarija departments and in Argentina in the Salta province at altitudes of 2000 to 2700 meters. The first description was published in 1933 by Curt Backeberg . Synonyms are Aylostera pseudodeminuta (Backeb.) Backeb. and Echinorebutia pseudodeminuta (Backeb.) Frič .
