The Red Bay (English for Red Bay ) is a small and open bay on the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately south of the western foothills of the Red Rock Ridge at the northwest end of the Gabriel Peninsula .
Participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937), led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill , carried out the first measurements. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey repeated this between 1948 and 1949. The bay is named after the name of the neighboring Red Rock Ridge.
