The History 300 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series car race held at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord , North Carolina , not far from Charlotte . It is the first of two Xfinity Series races of the season at this speedway, the second being the Dollar General 300 . The race takes place the day before the Coca-Cola 600 of the Sprint Cup on Memorial Day .
