Red Jacket (life dates unknown) was a lacrosse player . At the 1904 Summer Olympics in the US St. Louis MO , he won together with Black Hawk , Black Eagle , Almighty Voice , Flatiron , Spotted Tail , Half Moon , Lightfoot , Snake Eater , Night Hawk , Man Afraid Soap and Rain in Face the bronze medal in the first lacrosse competition of the Olympic Games.
life and career
Red Jacket - like his teammates from the Brantford area and probably a Mohawk , but possibly a member of another Iroquois tribe - competed with the Mohawk Indians of Canada at the Olympic Games as the second Canadian team alongside the Winnipeg Shamrocks . The Second Home could not prevent a defeat in the only game against the team of the St. Louis Amateur Athletic Association and won the bronze medal in the end.
