The Paulus Glacier is a glacier in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . In the Rouen Mountains, it flows west of Mount Cupola in a south-easterly direction to the Hampton Glacier .
Aerial photographs of the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948) were used in 1960 by the British geographer Derek Searle from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey for mapping. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Lieutenant Commander John Francis Paulus of the United States Navy , commander of a Lockheed C-130 Hercules of the Navy squadron VXE-6 in Operation Deep Freeze in 1969 and 1970.
