Redmond West is a place in the Australian state of Western Australia . It is about 30 kilometers northwest of Albany . The place is located in the traditional settlement area of the Aboriginal tribe of the Mineng .

To the south of the village are Youngs Siding and Torbay , to the west of Mount Lindesay and Hay , to the north of Narrikup and to the east of Redmond .
Also around Redmond West are the State Forest No. 64 and the Blue Gum Creek Nature Reserve and the Mitchell River .
