The Reformed Church in Fuldera in Val Müstair is a Protestant - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons . The church is located in the middle of the village and can accommodate 80 people.

History and equipment

The church was originally under the patronage of St. Rochus . In 1530 the village turned to the Reformation . In 1708 after the devastation during the Graubünden turmoil , the church was rebuilt in its current form. Since 1714 Fuldera had its own pastor. The pastor and writer William Wolfensberger worked in Fuldera from 1914 to 1916 and lived in the parsonage there.

The church tower , which characterizes the village, has an onion dome , the nave a tent roof . The Baroque-style interior is the central location in the choir located Organ aligned. The flat pulpit without a sound cover closes the choir on the left.

Church organization

The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden leads Fuldera as the preaching place of the merged parish Val Müstair, into which the long-standing pastoral community of the upper Münstertal together with Tschierv and Lüsai-Lü merged in 2013. The parish is part of the Colloquium VIII Engiadina Bassa - Val Müstair .
