The Reformed Church in Parpan in the canton of Grisons is a Grade II listed Evangelical - Reformed church .

History and equipment

The church was built after 1489 and was under the patronage of St. Anne . Even before the Reformation was adopted around 1560, a new choir was built in the second decade of the 16th century . In 1633, during the turmoil of Graubünden , the construction of the new, conspicuously separate tower to the west of the church , which was last renovated in 1916, took place.

The church is built in the late Gothic style. According to the Reformed tradition, the interior of the church runs towards the font from 1517.

The stained glass dates from 1916 and shows four reformers in the choir : Martin Luther , Johannes Calvin , Ulrich Zwingli and Heinrich Bullinger as well as two scenes in the ship for Christmas and Good Friday .

Church organization

Parpan is in a pastoral community with Churwalden and is part of the Colloquium VI Schanfigg Churwalden in the Evangelical Reformed Church of Graubünden .
