The Reformed Church in Rothenbrunnen in Domleschg is an Evangelical - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons . The easted building is now used for worship services by the Catholic parish Tumegl / Tomils .

History and equipment

The church was built in 1741 as a square hall and sermon church. The interior of the church is characterized by a wood-paneled field ceiling . In the middle of the choir area there is a baptismal font , which also serves as a communion table. The organ was installed in 1976. The saying from Jak can be found on the east wall of the interior . 1.22 "Be doers of the word and not only hearers".

Renovations

The church was renovated in 1802, 1955 and 1997.

The graves of the noble families of Ortenstein Castle are located in the cemetery directly on the rock by the church .

Church organization

The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden runs Rothenbrunnen as the preaching place of the Ausserdomleschg pastoral community within the Colloquium III Nid dem Wald .
