Reformed Church Thalkirch

The Reformed Church in to Safien belonging hamlet Thalkirch in Safiental is an Evangelical - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons . The church has a cemetery surrounded by a stone wall.

History and equipment

The Thalkircher church was first mentioned in 1441. It was under multiple patrons : Mary , the Three Kings and Theoduls .

The church tower and aisle have medieval structures and Romanesque style features .

The interior is of a massive font dominated of the center of the three-sided enclosed choir stands and at the same time as after reformed Buendner custom communion table functions.

Church organization

Thalkirch traditionally belonged to a pastoral community with Safien, Tenna , Versam and Valendas and since January 1, 2013 has been a merged parish with these villages. The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden leads this parish within the Colloquium I Ob dem Wald .
