Reformed Church Trans GR
The Reformed Church in Trans in Ausserdomleschg is an Evangelical - Reformed church under the monument of the canton of Grisons .
History and equipment
The church is first documented under the patronage of Peter and Paul in 1508. In 1518 a new building was built with the approval of the Bishop of Chur . The acceptance of the Reformation in the community led to tensions up to the 18th century, which went down in history as the Transer trade and as a result of which the Catholic minority left the village after the Reformed bought the previously shared church . Pastoration has not been done from Tumegl / Tomils since the Reformation , but from Almens .
The church tower has a tent , the nave a hipped roof . The interior of the church is characterized by a wood-paneled coffered ceiling in the nave and a net vault in the choir . The baptismal table is shifted slightly to the right, but central. The Lord's Supper is also celebrated on it. The pulpit has no sound cover and is in front of the choir.
Church organization
The Evangelical Reformed Church in Graubünden runs Trans as a place of preaching for the Ausserdomleschg pastoral community within the Colloquium III Nid dem Wald . The rectories are located in Feldis and Almens.
