The Refuge Durier ( German Durier Hut ) is a refuge in France in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It belongs to the Saint Gervais section of the Club Alpin Français . The cabin is equipped with gas, blankets, and cooking utensils, but is not heated. The refuge gives access to a number of routes, in particular to the Dômes de Miage , the Aiguille de Bionnassay and Mont Blanc .
It was named in honor of the historian and geographer Charles Henri Durier, who contributed to the development of mountaineering.
