The Regenstein is with a height of 2,302 meters one of the highest mountains in Namibia and part of the Auas Mountains southeast of Windhoek , a 50-kilometer mountain range with a width of only ten kilometers, the ridge line is average at 2000 meters.
The exclusive Regenstein Estate (residential area) of the same name at the foot of the mountain was named after the mountain.
