The Auas Mountains (rarely English Auas Mountains ) are around 50 kilometers long mountain range in central Namibia (southeast of the city of Windhoek ). The Auas Mountains are only about 10 kilometers wide, the ridge line averages 2000 meters above sea level.
Important peaks are (from west to east): Großherzog-Friedrich-Berg , Kempinskiberg , Kamelberg , Mount Auas (Moltkeblick) , Stormberg , Oorlogstein and Auasende . The highest mountain in the Auas Mountains is the Moltkeblick at 2479 meters, and also the highest point in the Khomas region . To the east, the Bismarck Mountains connect to the Ausberge.
