Karel Kramář government

The Karel Kramář government in Czechoslovakia , led by Prime Minister Karel Kramář , was in office from November 14, 1918 to July 8, 1919. It followed the provisional Czech-Slovak government chaired by Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and was replaced by the Vlastimil government Tusar I .

Government formation, program

The Karel Kramář government was - apart from the Provisional Government of Masaryk - the first regular government of the new state of Czechoslovakia, established in 1918, and at the same time the first government of the so - called All - National Coalition , which provided the governments from 1918 to 1926 . The national democrat Karel Kramář was elected Prime Minister, who campaigned for the founding of Czechoslovakia and played a leading role in the movement.
