Your scientific subject is theological ethics. In it, she does not argue from superordinate moral systems, but starts from people in their concrete life situations, from their relationships, needs and sufferings. She locates human dignity in human vulnerability. For her, “body”, “gender” and “sexuality” are not simple facts, but rather culturally shaped concepts that are subject to historical changes. Accordingly, she calls for a reassessment of homosexuality and a change in a bipolar view of the sexes.

On March 8, 2015, she was awarded the Herbert Haag Prize .
