Regina Regenbogen (English: Rainbow Brite ) is an American animated series that was originally based on a Hallmark postcard series.

action

The orphan girl Whisp comes to a country where there is no light and no color. She saves the seven color children trapped there, each of whom is responsible for a color of the rainbow , and the spear of light. She also finds the rainbow belt, which she can use to create colors. So she saves the country and becomes Regina Regenbogen and from now on she and the color children are responsible for the colors in the world.

The rainbow belt needs color crystals to function, which are broken down in a mine by the astronomers, the helpers of the rainbow children. Every color child has a star wight who helps them to produce the corresponding color. Regina's adversary Grummel curmudgeon and Schleichmichel want everything sad and gray. Regina can make everything colorful and happy again with her friends and the astronomers as well as her horse shooting star and so regularly wins over evil.
