Regina Taylor
Regina Taylor (born August 22, 1960 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actress .
Life
Regina Taylor was born in Dallas (Texas) and grew up in Muskogee ( Oklahoma on). The family later returned to Dallas and graduated from LG Pinkston High School in 1977 .
At the beginning of her career she took on minor roles in television films and appeared in various plays on Broadway . From 1991 to 1993, she starred alongside Sam Waterston and Jeremy London in the television series I'll Fly Away , for which she was awarded the 1993 Golden Globe for best actress in a drama series . Then she took on a number of supporting roles, including a. in Spike Lee's Clockers or a matter of negotiation .
From 2006 to 2009 she was in the television series The Unit - A Question of Honor . In 2008 she received an Image Award for best actress for her portrayal .
