Reginald Crosley

Reginald Crosley (* 1937 ) is a doctor, poet and writer from Haiti .

Live and act

Crosley studied medicine and pharmacy at the State University of Haiti (Université d'Etat d'Haïti) . In 1965 he obtained a doctorate in medicine there. Crosley was first known as a surrealist poet in the tradition of André Breton in Haiti. In 1967 he emigrated to the United States , where he has a practice as an internist in Baltimore . He writes on a wide range of topics from alternative medicine to religious questions, with a focus on African spiritual traditions and voodoo , the ideas and practices of which he aims to scientifically substantiate.
