Reginald de Windt

Reginald Andres Alejandro de Windt (born November 30, 1983 in Curaçao ) is a judoka from Curaçao.

Career

De Windt was third in the class up to 81 kilograms at the Caribbean Judo Championships in Santo Domingo in March 2011. At the end of April 2012 he reached seventh place at the Pan American Championships in Montreal. Three weeks later, he was also seventh at a World Cup event in San Salvador.

With these achievements he qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. After the National Olympic Committee of the Netherlands Antilles had lost its recognition by the IOC as a result of the dissolution of the island association, he received permission to compete in London as an Independent Olympic Participant.
