Regine Graml

Regine Graml (* 1966 in Munich ) is a German economist . She is professor for general business administration, especially human resource management and organization, at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences .

Life

Graml studied business administration at the University of Augsburg (Diplom-Kauffrau) and as a DAAD scholarship at Wayne State University ( Master of Arts in Economics 1990) in Detroit, Michigan. In 1991 she became a research assistant at the chair for general business administration, in particular decision and organizational research / human resources management at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . In 1995 she started with Rainer Marr with a dissertation on increasing enterprise value through disinvestment. An analysis with special consideration of the management buyout for Dr. rer. pole.PhD. The thesis was awarded the best economic dissertation of 1996 by the Dicke & Wicharz management consultancy.

She then worked for years at home and abroad in industry as well as in the consulting and service sector. a. as Director Competence Center Personnel Asia / Pacific at Siemens in Singapore and Head of Personnel Development at Infineon Technologies in Munich . Since 2007 she has been professor of general business administration, in particular human resource management and organization, at Faculty 3 (Economics and Law) at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (formerly Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences ).

She published in the field of gender and management. A contribution to " Outplacement " appeared in the Lexikon der Betriebswirtschaft (edited by Wolfgang Lück ). Their study on “Career prospects for working mothers”, carried out together with Caprice Oona Weissenrieder and Yvonne Ziegler in 2010, also met with national media interest.
