Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park

The Regional Natural Park Montagne de Reims ( French Parc naturel régional de la Montagne de Reims ) extends in the west of the Marne department in the French region Grand Est . It is located in a hill country south of the city of Reims , which bears the name Montagne de Reims and is bordered to the south by the Marne river and to the north by the Vesle .

Park management

The park management is based in Pourcy ( 49 ° 9 '27 "  N , 3 ° 54' 40"  O coordinates: 49 ° 9 '27 "  N , 3 ° 54' 40"  O ). The nature park was founded in 1976, covers an area of ​​around 53,300 hectares and a catchment area of ​​around 34,000 inhabitants, which extends over 68 communities.
