Regnosaurus is a little-known bird's pelvis dinosaur from the stegosauria group .

So far, only parts of the pelvis and bone plates and parts of the lower jaw of this dinosaur are known. The finds come from Sussex and the Isle of Wight and are dated to the Lower Cretaceous , at an age of 137 to 121 million years.

They were developed by Gideon Mantell (1790-1852) described that the name regnosaurus coined - derived from the people of the Regni, formerly lived in Sussex. It is possible that Craterosaurus , an English stegosaur that is also only known for its sparse remains, is a synonym, but this cannot be verified without further findings.

Investigations indicate that it was a primitive stegosaur, which showed similarities with Huayangosaurus in the construction of the lower jaw , and is therefore sometimes classified into the Huayangosauridae. Due to the sparse traditions, Regnosaurus is considered a nomen dubium .
