Reimar Gradischnik

Reimar Gradischnik (born January 17, 1941 in Villach ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and judge. Gradischnik was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1979 to 1990 .

Life

Gradischnik attended secondary school in Villach after primary school and then studied law at the University of Graz . He received his doctorate in 1966 and then completed training as a judge in Graz. Gradischnik was subsequently a judge at various courts in Carinthia and was most recently head of the Obervellach district court .

Gradischnik joined the SPÖ in 1974 and became a member of the district committee of the SPÖ Spittal an der Drau in 1975 . In 1979 he also became deputy district chairman and member of the state control commission of the SPÖ Carinthia. Gradischnik represented the SPÖ from June 5, 1979 to November 4, 1990 in the National Council and was from 1978 chairman of the district organization of the BSA Spittal and from 1980 chairman of the tenants' association of the regional organization of Carinthia.
