Reinaldo Oliver

Reinaldo Oliver ( Reinaldo Luis "Pochy" Oliver Martínez; born March 28, 1932 in Ponce ; † January 19, 2015 in San Juan ) was a Puerto Rican javelin thrower and decathlete .

In 1952 he came to the 21st place in the decathlon at the Olympic Games in Helsinki and was eliminated in the preliminary round of the javelin throw.

At the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1954, he won the javelin throw and won bronze in the pentathlon. The following year he won bronze in the javelin throw at the 1955 Pan American Games in Mexico City.

In 1956 he did not get beyond qualification in the javelin throw at the Olympic Games in Melbourne .
