Reiner Becker

Reiner Becker (born September 8, 1971 ) is a German political scientist .

Life

Becker studied social affairs as well as political science , sociology and philosophy at the Philipps University of Marburg (MA), the Georg-August University of Göttingen and the University of Kassel . From 2004 to 2007 he was a scholarship holder in the graduate school “ Group-related misanthropy ” at the Universities of Marburg / Bielefeld. In 2007 he started with Benno Hafeneger and Mathias Bös at the Philipps University of Marburg with the dissertation A normal family life. Interaction and communication between right-wing adolescents and their parents about the Dr. phil. PhD.

In 2009/10 he accompanied the project “Youth Fire Brigades Structurally Fit for Democracy” of the German Youth Fire Brigade . From 2010 to 2014 he was the head of the project "Red Line - Help to get out before getting started". Since 2011 he has been the state coordinator of the hessen advisory network . In addition, since 2007 he has been a research assistant at the Institute for Educational Science at the University of Marburg and at the regional coordination office of the "advisory network hessen - Mobile Intervention against Right-Wing Extremism". He conducts intensive research on right-wing extremism .
