Reiner Wyszomirski
Reiner Wyszomirski (born April 7, 1933 in Königsberg ; † March 24, 2016 in Linden ) was a German philatelist and long-time director of the Association of German Philatelists. V. (BDPh).
Life
After fleeing Königsberg in 1945, he first settled in Frankfurt am Main and moved to Oberlinden in 1962 .
In the meantime he had married, started a family and worked as an authorized officer of the Nassauische Heimstätte housing company. He was a member of the SPD in Langen.
For decades he was in a leading position at the BDPh and organized numerous trade fair appearances for the association.
He became co-organizer and press officer of NAPOSTA 1978 and NAPOSTA / IPHLA 1989 Frankfurt as well as the special show 1st Anniversary of German Unity 1991 in the Federal Chancellery and other BDPh special shows. He was involved in the art advisory board of the Deutsche Bundespost and in 1998 designed a showcase in the Chancellery.
His collecting area was Berlin after 1945. In 1974 he founded the Langener Stamp Collectors Association with 25 other collectors. Reiner Wyszomirski has held the post of chairman since the association was founded.
He was a member of the Forschungsgemeinschaft Berlin (1976–1994 deputy chairman, May 1994–2014 chairman), the Association for Postage Stamping 1878 Frankfurt (since 1994 deputy chairman, 1997–2013 chairman), in the ArGe Frankfurter BSV (deputy chairman) . Also in the BDPh (1978–1988 Head of Public Relations, 1988–1991 board member, again from 1997–2005), in the art advisory board of the Deutsche Bundespost (1985–1995) and in the Consilium Philatelicum (from 1992).
