Reinhard Benningk

Reinhard Benningk , also Reinhold Benningk , († 1617 in Lübeck ) was a North German piece and bell founder .

Reinhard Benningk was the son of the Lübeck bell founder Matthias Benningk and had taken over the father's workshop after his death. Like his father, Reinhard held the position of Lübeck council founder .

Reinhard Benningk belongs to a family of foundries that was widespread in northern Germany ( Hamburg , Lübeck, Danzig ) in the 16th and 17th centuries . Hermann Benningk , Reinhard's son, also became a piece and bell caster and worked in Hamburg.
