Reinhard Holubek

Reinhard Holubek (born July 27, 1931 in Kreuzburg in Upper Silesia ; † February 12, 2016 ) was a German diplomat .

Life

Reinhard Holubek graduated from high school in 1952. After a commercial apprenticeship in foreign trade from 1952 to 1954, he attended a commercial college. From 1954 to 1957 he studied law and economics and passed his first state examination in law in the seminar for state philosophy and legal policy at the University of Cologne in 1958 , and in 1960 he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD .

In 1960 Holubek joined the foreign service . From 1961 to 1963 he was accredited at the embassy in Madrid , from 1963 to 1966 at the embassy in Mogadishu and from 1966 to 1969 at the embassy in Montevideo . He was ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bangui, Central African Republic (1972–1973), in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (1990–1994) and in Riga, Latvia (1994–1996).
