Reinhard Kiefer
Reinhard Kiefer (born October 12, 1956 in Nordbögge ) is a German writer and literary scholar .
Life
Reinhard Kiefer studied German and Protestant theology at RWTH Aachen , where he did his doctorate on Ernst Meister , completed his habilitation and has been a lecturer in modern German literary history since 1998 . In addition to academic work , he writes poems , essays , prose and translations from French ( Arthur Rimbaud ), which have been published in anthologies , yearbooks and literary journals. Kiefer made his debut in 1981 with the volume of poetry hofnarrenkorrespondenz . Since 1981, fifteen Kiefer books have been published by Rimbaud Verlag . He is the chairman of the Ernst Meister Society .
The author's literary works have been translated into several languages; Most recently (2009) his prose work Café Moka was translated into Arabic (Diwan Al-Masar, Baghdad and Beirut; translator: Mohammed Khallouk ).
Reinhard Kiefer lives in Aachen . There he is volunteering as an evangelist in the New Apostolic Church . Reinhard Kiefer has worked for the Friedrich Bischoff publishing house in Frankfurt, which is owned by the New Apostolic Church, since 2000 . There he worked as theological advisor to the publishing director. Since 2010, the theological department of the publishing house has been affiliated to the New Apostolic Church International based in Zurich . Reinhard Kiefer now supports and advises the New Apostolic Church Head - the Chief Apostle (since 2013 Jean-Luc Schneider ) - in his theological decisions.
