Reinhard Springer (entrepreneur)

Reinhard Springer (born May 22, 1948 in Bernburg (Saale) ) founded the advertising agency Springer & Jacoby (1979–2010) as an advertising salesman . Since selling his shares in 2006, he has been working as a freelancer.

Life

Reinhard Springer attended the commercial college in 1965. After training as an advertising clerk in Hamburg from 1966 to 1969 , he worked as a contact from 1969 to 1971. In 1972 Springer founded the advertising company Springer & Partner. From 1974 Springer was account executive at Slesina-Bates in Frankfurt am Main. From 1976 he was responsible for consulting in the management of GKK in Düsseldorf.

On October 3, 1979, Springer founded today's advertising agency Springer & Jacoby together with Holger Nicolai and Eiler & Riemel. Springer expanded with the company into all major European economic metropolises. Springer was a member of the board of the umbrella association of advertising agencies (GWA), member of the plenary session of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, member of the advisory board of HSH Nord-Bank and member of the supervisory board of Frosta AG.

In 1994 Springer withdrew from the day-to-day business of Springer & Jacoby and switched to the supervisory board. In 2000, Springer founded the reinhards company . integrated branding , which advises brand owners under the name ribs .

In 2006 Springer & Jacoby gave their remaining shares in the company to Avantaxx AG at a symbolic value. Springer has been working as a so-called “brand coach” since 2007.

Springer is the father of three children.
