Reinhardt Glauber
Reinhardt Glauber (* 14. December 1948 in Pinzberg ) is a German local politician ( CDU ) and was from 1996 to 2014 District Administrator of the district Forchheim .
biography
Reinhardt Glauber grew up in Pinzberg in the Forchheim district. From 1969 to 1972 he studied architecture at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University in Nuremberg . From 1972 to 1977 he worked as an architect, from 1977 to 1996 he was a specialist teacher for construction at the Forchheim State Vocational School.
His commitment to local politics began in Pinzberg in 1972, where he served as a councilor until 1990 and as first mayor from 1990 to 1996. In 1996 Glauber was elected for the first time to the district administrator of the Forchheim district , in 2002 with 53.67% and in 2008 with 59.39% of the votes for the free voters . He was also the district chairman of the Free Voters from 1992 to 2003. From 1998 to 2018 he was a member of the District Assembly of Upper Franconia.

Glauber is married to Dorothea Glauber. He is the father of the Bavarian State Minister for Environment and Consumer Protection Thorsten Glauber (Free Voters).
