Hermann Ulm
Hermann Ulm (born October 18, 1976 in Forchheim ) is a German local politician ( CSU ) and since May 1, 2014 District Administrator of the Forchheim district .

After the Ehrenbürg elementary school in Mittelehrenbach, he attended the Ehrenbürg grammar school in Forchheim from 1987 to 1996. Ulm then studied teaching at the Otto-Friedrich University in Bamberg , and he completed the second state examination for teaching at secondary schools in 2003. In 2007 he received his doctorate in philosophy at the Institute for Geography at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. From 2010 he was vice principal at the elementary and middle school in Kirchehrenbach , from 2011 lecturer for geography and geography didactics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg .
Political career
From 2008 to 2014 he was mayor of the Kunreuth community as the successor to his father Helmut Ulm . In the district election on March 16, 2014, Ulm received 68.74% of the votes from an opposing candidate and succeeded Reinhardt Glauber (Free Voters) on May 1, 2014 . Ulm is u. a. Chairman of the supervisory board of Klinik Fränkische Schweiz gGmbH, 1st chairman in the Franconian Switzerland-Veldensteiner Forest nature park and 1st chairman in the tourism association / area committee Franconian Switzerland.
Private
Ulm is Protestant, married and has three children.
