Reinhold Bruens

Reinhold Bruens (born November 4, 1905 in Telgte ; † November 3, 1992 in Münster ) was a German local politician ( FDP ).

Life

After attending school, he studied law in Tübingen . Since 1925 he was a member of the Catholic student union AV Guestfalia Tübingen in the CV . He put the first and second state exam and was 1929 in Tübingen with the work "The preferential treatment" to Dr. iur. PhD . From 1933 he worked as a specialist lawyer for administrative law and notary . Bruens took part in World War II, was married and had seven children.

He was a member of the district council of the Münster district from 1946 to 1948. From November 6, 1946 to November 15, 1948 he was district administrator of the former district of Münster. Until 1950 he was then deputy district administrator. In 1953 he ran unsuccessfully for the FDP for the Bundestag in the constituency of Münster-Stadt und -Land .
