Reinhold Mathes
Reinhold Mathes (born March 31, 1949 in Fulda ) is a former German soccer player .
career
His first career station was Sportfreunde Siegen , from whom he moved to Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga before the 1971/72 season. For the Borussia he completed 18 missions. BVB was relegated and Mathes returned to Siegen, bringing with him the ex- Wattenscheid amateur national player Dieter Mietz .
After a year in the Regionalliga (at the time the second highest division in Germany) Mathes moved to SSV Jahn Regensburg , for which he played a total of 76 second division games and scored four goals in the 1975/76 and 1976/77 years .
After his active career, Mathes worked as a masseur and physiotherapist. He also acquired the A license and trained various amateur teams, including DSC Wanne-Eickel , Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid and SV Holzwickede .
Mathes made 35 appearances in the Westphalia team and won the amateur country cup in 1978 .
Reinhold Mathes is now a supervisor and physiotherapist for the traditional Borussia Dortmund team. For this he was also a player himself for years.
