The Reinigshof , often also Reinighof , is a hamlet that belongs to the local community of Bruchweiler-Bärenbach in the district of Südwestpfalz .

The Reinigshof is located in a meadow valley in the northwest of the municipality in Wasgau , as the southern part of the Palatinate Forest and the adjoining northern part of the Vosges are also called. Not far to the north is the district boundary to the city of Dahn . In its catchment area, the stream rises from the Reinigshof , which flows around the hamlet in an almost semicircular shape and flows into the Wöllmersbach after around one kilometer . There are also several rock formations of the Dahner Felsenland, classified as natural monuments , such as the Napoleon Rocks and the Narrow Stone Rocks in the vicinity .
history
From 1969 to 1989 the Reinigshof was part of the Wieslautern local community . In 1975 the non-profit association Europäische Pioniersiedlung Reinighof e. V. , who two years later opened a farm serving local agriculture and at the same time set up a community with an alternative lifestyle. In 2012 the community was redesigned. The residents were previously self-sufficient, but since then they have been working outside and the commitment has been on a voluntary basis ever since. Since then it has operated under the name Biotopia . Legally, the Reinigshof is a residential space.
Infrastructure
The Reinigshof is connected to the road network via Kreisstraße 42 , which connects it with Bruchweiler-Bärenbach.
