The Reisafjord is a fjord in the northern Norwegian province of Troms og Finnmark , which is located in the municipality of Nordreisa and flows into the European Arctic Ocean.
It is one of the smaller fjords in Northern Norway, the length is 23 km measured on the mainland coast, 30 - 32 km including the islands that frame the mouth. In relation to its short length it is quite wide (four to over ten kilometers). It has three side fjords, the short and wide Oksfjord in the east, the long and narrow Straumfjord in the southeast and the short and wide Bakkebyfjord in the west.
It is known for its wealth of salmon and sea trout . At the settlement of Storslett , the administrative center of the municipality of Nordreisa, on European route 6 , the Reisa flows into the fjord.
