The Reist Rocks are a small group of rocky outcrops on the Knox coast of Wilkesland East Antarctica . They rise 13 km west of the Snyder Rocks .
They were mapped using aerial photographs taken during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1955 after Wilbur H. Reist (* 1927), who worked as a tractor operator for Operation Windmill (1947–1948) to set up astronomical observation stations along the Kaiser Wilhelm II coast and the Budd- Coast was involved.
