The hamlet of Rempen is located in the Wägital on the right bank slope of the Wägitaler Aa and a little above the road from Siebnen to Vorderthal at an altitude of about 670  m above sea level. M.

The Rampenensee was also created there as a compensation basin . In addition to the water from the pressure pipes from the Wägitalersee, this is also fed by the Wägitaler Aa. The connecting road from Vorderthal to Siebnen crosses the reservoir with a bridge. A little below Rempen is the aqueduct over the Trepsenbach, created by Robert Maillart .
