René Barbier (born March 4, 1891 in Lyon , † February 14, 1966 in Pully , Switzerland ) was a French sword fencer .
successes
At the Olympic Games in 1928 , René Barbier reached the final round with the team in Amsterdam , in which they only had to admit defeat to Italy . Together with Gaston Amson , Émile Cornic , Georges Buchard , Bernard Schmetz and Armand Massard , he won the silver medal.
