René Besson

René Besson , (born January 13, 1933 in Basel ; † December 14, 2001 in Allschwil  near Basel) was a Swiss actor .

Career

He received his first engagement in the 1955/56 season at the Stadttheater Basel . From 1957 to 1961 he worked at the Komödie Basel . He later became a freelance actor. He performed at the Bernhard Theater in Zurich and for over 30 years in the Ensemble des Fauteuils and Tabourettli of the Rasser family on Spalenberg in Basel. His best-known role was Misli in Alfred Rasser's " HD Läppli ".

He became known to a television audience as a decoy in the ARD television program Do you understand fun?

He also played the landlord in the television series The Fallers . In 1997 he co-founded the senior theater in his long-term home in Allschwil , where he died in 2001 of heart failure. He was buried in the local cemetery.
