René Boylesve
René Boylesve (actually René Tardiveau ; born April 14, 1867 in La Haye-Descartes , France , † January 14, 1926 in Paris ) was a French writer and literary critic .
Life
Orphaned at an early age, he went to school in Poitiers and Tours . In 1895 he began to publish texts in various magazines. He is considered the heir to Honoré de Balzac and the forerunner of Marcel Proust . In 1919 he was accepted into the Académie française .
